Under blue skies, a competitive 10K field posted fast times on the challenging and hilly course, and the family turnout for the 5K Fun Run was incredible - we had more than 30 Family registrations this year!
In addition to joining the Run the North Shore series, 2010 marked the introduction of ChampionChip timing to the Strachan Hartley Legacy Run. While over 400 people participated in this great event, times posted are limited to those who chose to wear a TIming Chip.
Our sincere gratitude to the tireless Vancouver Committee who volunteers countless hours to put on this event, our sponsors, our partners Take a Hike and Streetfront and to each and every participant for a great day! Thank you, sincerely, for Making a Difference.

*Note: Unfortunately, a group of runners missed the left turn marker at Emerald Drive and Wellington Crescent. Our sincere apologies that the turn was not adequately marked, as the group instead headed down to Edgemont, then along Ridgewood and Woodbine before getting back on the course at Queens. The detour shortened the course to approximately 8.8km for these 10k runners, whereas some 5k runners in the group ended up completing the longer course (congratulations).
