Brick by Brick Campaign: Rebuilding the Foundation for Haiti's Children
Sunday, January 10, 2010 - Sunday, July 31, 2011

In January, 2010, the facilities of our long-term partners L'Athletique d'Haiti were destroyed by the magnitude 7.0 earthquake in Port-Au-Prince. The Strachan Hartley Legacy Foundation has launched the Brick by Brick campaign to help rebuild their facilities - specifically, to rebuild the perimeter wall around the facility. This will enable L'Athletique to continue providing youth with after school sports and tutoring in a safe environment.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 to build a new perimeter wall.

SHLF supporters and friends have shown their outstanding support and have raised more than $35,000 for this initiative specifically.  As of the one-year anniversary of the tragedy, SHLF has transferred $30,000 to begin the building of the wall, and remain focused on achieving our original goal of $60,000 needed to complete the wall.

While this is a fantastic and we are so grateful, we have more to go!

We need YOU to help re-build sports and education facilities and build dreams for Haitian youth.

Enclosing the soccer field requires:

3,000 bricks
$20 per brick
(including local labour)
$60,000.

Make a donation and help rebuild hope for these youth »

All donations earmarked for this purpose will reach those in Haiti.
