• The Trip
• Beginning in May 2012, one courageous man (Michael Hartley) will attempt to cross Canada by paddle and foot from Rocky Mountain House, AB to L’Ilse-aux-Grues, 65 km east of Quebec City on the St. Lawrence River. He is inviting select friends and supporters to join parts of the trip and experience Canada in a unique and meaningful way.

• The 5073 kilometre, 5 month journey will cross 5 Canadian provinces and many of Canada’s historic waterways.

• The Canadian Odyssey journey aims to fundraise $100,000 through corporate sponsorship and individual donations. A media campaign will be launched in conjunction with the trip as well as a web-blog to help maintain media interest and ensure widespread exposure. 100% of net proceeds will go towards providing youth with opportunities to achieve their full potential through sports and education.
