Coaches of L'Athletique d'Haiti began the healing and rebuilding process by calling a community meeting among the youth and their families. HUNDREDS of participants came to the fields, received meals, met together and..... played! Leaders were overwhelmed by the attendance and reported a feeling of releif and excitement in the air. They say the youth have been traumatized by the events and need an opportunity to play more than ever.
Once again, SHLF is proud to support L'Athletique D'Haiti as they continue to demonstrate their outstanding leadership and their invaluable role in the community both on and off the field.
